If I had My Child to Raise Over Again

If I had my child to raise all over again,
I'd finger-paint more and point the finger less.
I'd do less correcting and more connecting.
I'd take my eyes off my watch, and watch with my eyes.
I would care to know less and know to care more.
I'd take more hikes and fly more kites.
I'd stop playing serious, and seriously play.
I'd run through more fields and gaze at more stars.
I'd do more hugging and less tugging.
I would be firm less often, and affirm much more.
I'd build self-esteem first, and the house later.
I'd teach less about the love of power, and more about the power of love.

Beware

Avoid people who extremely cheat. It should always be a fair fight.Well people have different mindset because of what happen to them. If you know everything, you might wanna shut your mouth and mind your own business!!! Nothing really matters in the end so keep minding the business by yourself and mind your own family. Don't ruin others life and family. What good might be bad and bad might be good to you. Well, it's up to you. So stop minding someone's business. It sucks when someone cast a spell on you and its like you don't know the world you are living cause someone is manipulating everyone.

Living In the Moment

Wisdom

Three cowboys had been riding the range since early in the morning. One of them was a member of the Navajo Nation. Being busy with herding stray cattle all day, there had been no time for the three of them to eat. Toward the end of the day, two of the cowboys started talking about how hungry, he just shrugged his shoulders and said, "No."
Later that evening, after they had arrived in town, all three ordered large steak dinners. As the Navajo proceeded to eat everything in sight with great gusto, one of his friends reminded him that less than an hour earlier he had told them that he was not hungry."Not wise to be hungry then,"he replied."No food."

Be Yourself

Ever since I was a little kid, I didn't want to be me. I wanted to be like Billy Widdledon, and  Billy Widdledon didn't even like me. I walked like he walked; I talked like he talked; And I signed up for the high school he signed up for.
Which was why Billy Widdledon changed. He began to hang around Herby Vandeman; he walked like Herby Vandeman; he talked  like Herby Vandeman. He mixed me up! I began to walk and talk like Billy Widdledon, who was walking and talking like Herby Vandeman.
And then it dawned on that Herby Vandeman walked and talked like Joey Haverlin. And Joey Haverling walked and talked like Corky Sabinson.
So here I am walking and talking like Billy Widdledon's imitation of Herby Vandeman's version of Joey Haverlin, trying to walk and talk like Corky Sabinson. And who do you think Corby Sabinson is always walking and talking like? Of all people, Dopey Wellington-that little pest who walks and talks like me!

But You Didn't

I looked at you and smiled the other day
I thought you'd see me but you didn't
I said "I love you" and waited for what you would say
I thought you'd hear me but you didn't
I asked to you to come outside and play ball with me
I thought you'd follow me but you didn't
I drew a picture just for you to see
I thought you save it but you didn't
I made a fort for us back in the woods
I thought you'd want to go but you didn't
I told you about the game hoping you'd be there
I thought you'd surely come but you didn't
I asked you to share my youth with me
I thought you'd want to but you couldn't
My country called me to war, you asked me to come home safely
But I didn't

The Optimist

There is a story of identical twins. One was a hopefilled optimist. "Everything is coming up roses!" he would say. The other was a sad and hopeless pessimist. He thought that Murphy, as in Murphy's Law, was an optimist. The worried parents of the boys brought them to the local psychologist.
He suggested to the parents a plan to balance the twins' personalities. "On their next birthday, put them in seperate rooms to  open their gifts. Give the  pessimist the best toys you can afford, and give the optimist a box of manure." The parents followed these instructions and carefully observed the results.
When they peeked in on the pessimist, they heard him audibly complaining, "I don't like the color of this computer . . . . I'll bet this calculator will break. . . .I don't like this game . . . . I know someone who's got a bigger toy car than this. . . ."
Tiptoeing across the corridor, the parents peeked in and saw their little optimist gleefully throwing the manure up in the air. He was giggling. "You can't fool me! Where there's much manure, there's gotta be a pony!"

Lenka- The Show (lyrics)

The Stonecutter

There was once a stonecutter who was dissatisfied with himself and with his position in life.
One day, he passed a wealthy merchant's house and through the open gateway saw many fine possessions and important visitors. "How powerful that merchant must be!" thought the stonecutter. He became very envious, and wished that he could be like the merchant. Then he would no longer have to live the life of a mere stonecutter.
To his great surprise, he suddenly became the merchant, enjoying more luxuries and power than he had ever dreamed of, envied and detested by those less by wealthy than himself. But soon a high official passed by, carried in sedan chair, accompanied by attendants, and escorted by soldiers beating gongs. Everyone, no matter how wealthy, had to bow low before the procession. " How powerful that official is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a high official!"
Then he became the high official, carried everywhere in his embroidered sedan chair, feared and hated by the people all around, who had to bow down before him as he passed. It was a hot summer day, and the official felt very uncomfortable in the sticky sedan chair. He looked up at the sun. It shone proudly in the sky, unaffected by his presence. "How powerful the sun is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be the sun!"
Then he became the sun, shining fiercely down on everyone, scorching the fields, cursed by the farmers and laborers. But a huge black cloud moved between him and the earth, so that his light could no longer shine on everything below. "How powerful that storm cloud is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a cloud!"
Then he became the cloud, flooding the fields and villages, shouted at by everyone. But soon he found that he was being pushed away by some great force, and realized that it was the wind. "How powerful it is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be the wind!"
Then he became the wind, blowing tiles off the roofs of houses, uprooting trees, hated and feared by  all below him. But after a while, he ran up against something that would not move, no matter how forcefully he blew against it-a huge, towering stone. "How powerful that stone is!" he thought. "I wish that I could be a stone!"
Then he became the stone, more powerful than anything else on earth. But as he stood there, he heard the sound of a hammer pounding a chisel into the solid rock and felt himself being changed. " What could be more powerful than I, the stone?" he thought. He looked down and saw far below him the figure of a stonecutter.

Luke 2:40

And the child grew, and was strong in spirit, filled with wisdom; and the grace of God was upon him.

GJC March

We are builders of the land
All ready to make a stand
For right we fight with all our might
A general's name to give us life and light
Freedom's bell shall ever ring
If in all our hearts we bring and sing
This song for those who stood and died
For a land that was dearly tried

We fight, fight, fight with cheers
Now that the joy has taken the place of tears
Lead us on, lead us on General de Jesus
With you as guide we cannot lose
Liberty you sought for which fought
To us you brought that which was dearly brought
To you we sing to a hope we cling
That freedom's bell shall ever ring.

Why Don't You Love Me?

Please tell me the truth. You know I'll keep believing till I'm with you. . .

Lessons

Do I really have to be alone in figuring out the lessons? I know our parents let us face the world alone for us to absorb the lessons well, but they prepare us anyway.

When I was young my mother used to hurt me physically and emotionally for me to learn my lessons. Back then I can't understand why, sometimes I doubt her love because of that. But now as I'm getting older I realized, it makes me a little bit stronger, and more determined to succeed. I found out that she's just preparing me in the real world. And now I loved her even more.

Well my father let me decide in everything and he's always there to support and guide me. My father is a quiet guy, he don't talk that much. We feel his love through his actions, he gave everything he can for us to be happy. He disciplined us by showing his love.

They got angry at me once when I want to stop in college. I don't want to disappoint them anymore so I will do my best to finish college.  I know what they want is for the best.

I know its hard to see someone in pain but you have to accept it. They need pain for them to grow, to learn, and to be ready in facing real life's challenges. Just pray for them and trust God.

Shooting Star

God do exist

Does evil exist?

The university professor challenged his students with this question. Did God create everything that exists?
A student bravely replied yes, he did!"
"God created everything?" The professor asked.
"Yes, sir," the student replied.

The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created evil since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works define who we are then God is evil."
The student became quiet before such an answer. The professor was quite pleased with himself and boasted to the students that he had proven once more that the Christian faith was a myth. Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question professor?" "Of course", replied the professor. The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?"

"What kind of question is this? Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The students snickered at the young man's question.

The young man replied, "In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics, what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Everybody and every object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy, and heat is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero (- 460 degrees F) is the total absence of heat; all matter becomes inert and incapable of reaction at that temperature. Cold does not exist. We have created this word to describe how we feel if we have too little heat.

The student continued. "Professor, does darkness exist?"
The professor responded, "Of course it does".

The student replied, "Once again you are wrong sir, darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we can use Newton's prism to break white light into many colors and study the various wavelengths of each color. You cannot measure darkness. A simple ray of light can break into a world of darkness and illuminate it. How can you know how dark a certain space is? You measure the amount of light present. Isn't this correct? Darkness is a term used by man to describe what happens when there is no light present."

Finally the young man asked the professor. "Sir, does evil exist?"
Now uncertain, the professor responded, "Of course as I have already said. We see it every day. It is in the daily example of man's inhumanity to man. It is in the multitude of crime and violence everywhere in the world. "These manifestations are nothing else but evil."

To this the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it does not exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence of God. God did not create evil. Evil is not like faith, or love, that exist just as does light and heat. Evil is the result of what happens when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when there is no light."
The professor sat down.

Richard Cory

Whenever Richard Cory went down town,
We people on the pavement looked at him:
He was a gentleman from sole to crown,
Clean favored, and imperially slim.

And he was always quietly arrayed,
And he was always human when he talked;
But still he fluttered pulses when he said,
'Good-morning,' and he glittered when he walked.

And he was rich - yes, richer than a king -
And admirably schooled in every grace:
In fine, we thought that he was everything
To make us wish that we were in his place.

So on we worked, and waited for the light,
And went without the meat, and cursed the bread;
And Richard Cory, one calm summer night,
Went home and put a bullet through his head.

A chat w/ Jesus Christ

Jesus: Hello. Did you call me?
Man: Called you? No. Who is this?
Jesus: This is Jesus. I heard your prayers. So I thought I will chat.
Man: I do pray. Just makes me feel good. I am actually busy now. I am in the midst of something.
Jesus: What are you busy at? Ants are busy too.
Man: Don’t know. But I can’t find free time. Life has become hectic. It’s rush hour all the time.
Jesus: Sure. Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you results. Activity consumes time. Productivity frees it.
Man: I understand. But I still can’t figure out. By the way, I was not expecting YOU to buzz me on instant messaging chat.
Jesus: Well I wanted to resolve your fight for time, by giving you some clarity. In this net era, I wanted to reach you through the medium you are comfortable with.
Man: Tell me, why has life become complicated now?
Jesus: Stop analyzing life. Just live it. Analysis is what makes it complicated.
Man: why are we then constantly unhappy?
Jesus: Your today is the tomorrow that you worried about yesterday. You are worrying because you are analyzing. Worrying has become your habit. That’s why you are not happy.
Man: But how can we not worry when there is so much uncertainty?
Jesus: Uncertainty is inevitable, but worrying is optional.
Man: But then, there is so much pain due to uncertainty.
Jesus: Pain is inevitable, but suffering is optional.
Man: If suffering is optional, why do good people always suffer?
Jesus: Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don’t suffer. With that experience their life become better not bitter.
Man: You mean to say such experience is useful?
Jesus: Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.
Man: But still, why should we go through such tests? Why can’t we be free from problems?
Jesus: Problems are Purposeful Roadblocks Offering Beneficial Lessons (to) Enhance Mental Strength. Inner strength comes from struggle and endurance, not when you are free from problems.
Man: Frankly in the midst of so many problems, we don’t know where we are heading.
Jesus: If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Looking outside, you dream. Looking inside, you awaken. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides insight.
Man: Sometimes not succeeding fast seems to hurt more than moving in the right direction. What should I do?
Jesus: Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you. Knowing the road ahead is more satisfying than knowing you rode ahead. You work with the compass. Let others work with the clock.
Man: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?
Jesus: Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.
Man: What surprises you about people?
Jesus: When they suffer they ask, “why me? When they prosper, they never ask “Why me” Everyone wishes to have truth on their side, but few want to be on the side of the truth.
Man: Sometimes I ask, who I am, why am I here. I can’t get the answer.
Jesus: Seek not to find who you are, but to determine who you want to be. Stop looking for a purpose as to why you are here. Create it. Life is not a process of discovery but a process of creation.
Man: How can I get the best out of life?
Jesus: Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.
Man: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.
Jesus: There are no unanswered prayers. At times the answer is NO.
Man: Thank you for this wonderful chat. I am so happy to start the day with a new sense of inspiration.
Jesus: Well. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Don’t believe your doubts and doubt your beliefs. Life is a mystery to solve not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.
Man: Thank you so much.
Jesus: You are always welcome. Have a good day my friend.

" Always remember, God's Word is the Word for YOU ".

Healing

speak clearly, Lord, into my heart.
In the past, I had been busy with life and I forgot what it meant to really live.
In the midst of my pains and difficulties, allow me to know you so that I may understand what living for you is all about.

I am weak, Lord, and helpless without you.
I surrender to you, Lord, all my fears, all my burdens.
I will focus on your truth that you will be with me always.
I will never understand your ways but I know that you have a purpose for me.

Lord, as I continue this prayer, gently touch me with your healing hands.
You are the Divine Healer and the greatest Physician of all.
I believe in my heart that nothing is impossible to you.
Heal my innermost being, my spirit and my soul.

I know, Lord, that there is an end to my loneliness and sickness because you died on the cross and rose from the dead.
From now on I just want to live with a loving heart, and not with a grumbling heart, from now on, Lord, I just want to live with a faithful heart and not with a fearful heart.
In the mighty name of Jesus.
Amen.

To The Sky

Awake the stars 'cause they are all around you.

Bridge

There is a land of the living and a land of the dead and the bridge is LOVE.

                                                                      -Thornton Wilder

A Life worth saving

A man risked his life by swimming through the treacherous riptide to save a youngster being swept out to sea. After a child recovered from the harrowing experience, he said to the man, "Thank you for saving my life."
The man looked into the boys's eyes and said, "That's okay, kid. Just make sure your life was worth saving."

After a While

After a while you learn the subtle difference between
holding a hand and chaining a soul,
And you learn that love doesn't mean leaning and
   company doesn't mean security,
And you begin to learn that kisses aren't contracts
   and presents aren't promises,
And you begin to accept your defeats with your head up
and your eyes open, with the grace of an adult,
not the grief of a child,
And you learn to build all your roads on today
because tomorrow's ground is too uncertain for plans.
After a while you learn that even sunshine burns if
   you get too much.
So plant your own garden and decorate your own soul,
instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers.
And you learn that you really can endure.
That you really are strong,
And you really do have worth.

Smile

  I can't smile without you.

Real friends

Real friendships will always lead you to a beautiful life.

Do it anyway

People are often unreasonable, illogical and self-centered; forgive them anyway. If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish ulterior motives; be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and true enemies; succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; be honest anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; give the best you've got anyway.

Can you?

If you could just love me like I love you then everything will be alright.

In Christ Alone

This song saves me. I wanna share it with you. :)

Teach Me, Jesus

My Lord Jesus Christ,
Teach me, to be sweet and gentle in all the events of life:
in disappointments, in the thoughtlessness of others,
in the insincerity of those I've trusted,
in the unfaithfulness of those on whom I've relied.

Let me put myself aside to think of the happiness of others;
to hide my little pains and heartaches
so that I may be the only one to suffer from them.

Teach me to profit by the suffering that comes across my path.
Let me use it so that it may mellow me,
that it may make me broad in my forgiveness,

May someone be good for having my influence,
be more pure, more true, more kind, more noble
for having been a fellow-traveler in our journey towards eternal life.

As I go my rounds from one distraction to another,
Let me whisper from time to time a word of love to you.

May my life be lived in the supernatural,
full of power for good and strong in its purpose of sanctity.

Amen.

YoYo

Life is like a yoyo in God's hand. Whether we go up or down, we always end up in the palm of His hands.

I don't wanna think you didn't love me. . .

I believe our soul is within us as long as we are alive.

Jesus can save you if you ask Him, and believe in Him. Don't worship other God beside from our Creator, The Father Almighty. Trust Him with all your heart. Never ever doubt Him.

He will not let you make a choice blindfolded. He will let you know the consequences you will face cause that's how much he loves you. He did not want you to suffer, if he do he will not let you know those choices. God gives us what we need not what we want.

Well, I don't know the whole story so I won't judge you. You are right that everyone wants to be famous and be rich, but now that we know that some people in order to get what they want exchange their soul for something that can be gone in just a snap is not a wise decision. You're soul is the most beautiful thing God has created no amount can replace that. It is a masterpiece of God that can move mountains, do miracles, and it is our connection to our Creator. It's not too late, God forvige everyone who is sincere unto Him. God knows everything. God loves His creation so much , you are one of them so cherish every moment and live to love. Thanks him for the wonderful Earth you are living, for your beautiful family, and for your beautiful soul.

You can save your soul by believing in Christ and asking Him sincerely. It's simple so let's not make it complicated. And remember to love one another.  :)

Well, it's a letter :)

Dear Someone Special ,

What it's like on the other side? You be good. This seperation seems a sad crime. I hope you did not forget me I could not forget you the whole time. I tried to make you happy. I did all I could just to keep you. Our differences they do a lot to teach us how to use the tools and gifts we got . And in the end you're still my friend.

When I see your eyes. It's like watching the night sky or a beautiful sunrise. There's so much they hold.

If only we can find the answer to help us understand. Let's don't give up and see the perfect plan. We had to learn what we've got, and what we're not, and who we are. God knows we're worth it.

I wish I could save you. There's so many things that I want you to know. Seek Jesus Christ and he will save you. And things would be magical.  By that time hold on tight, he'll hold on  too 'cause he wants you and your beautiful soul.

When you read this song and you sing along. The world will never ever be the same and you're to blame. I will treat you well.

Always be ready because here comes a light, a beautiful light. Just know, you’re never alone, you can always come back home.

                                                                                                                      Your friend,
                                                                                                                       :)
